Fantastic bird watching morning at Shapwick Heath & Ham Wall this morning. (31st)
Watched a Barn Owl hunting and a Bittern in the open by the waters edge gave good, long views.
Quite a few Bittern fly pasts as well, one very close to the new hide at Ham Wall. Marsh Harriers and Hobbys also active.
