Northmoor, Moorland

After months under deep water this winter it was great to get out on the moor again yesterday. Lots of scrub has grown back after it was 'blitzed' three summers ago and as a result sedge warblers seemed to be everywhere. A pair of wheatears down the main drove by middle moor bridge, a single whimbrel and numerous skylarks. All very pleasant, let's hope it lasts.
