Cattle Egret at Wall Common

Sunday 8am. Wall Common. Hen Harrier hunting low over salt marsh. Single wheatear on shingle bank. Cattle Egret squatting amongst cattle in a field on the left a few hundred yards back down the road towards new car park.

Cattle egret seen again this morning at WWT Steart Marshes. Viewable from 'hump' at Wall Common in field with cattle just inside reserve to the east of the road. Update on https://twitter.com/WWTSteart first thing tomorrow. Also many wheatear with some resembling Greenland type

Adult Cattle Egret still present at 12:35 today. In wet roadside field on the right of the long straight road (Stert Drove) leading to Wall Common, about mid-way between Marsh Farm and the 'hump' at the start of Wall Common. Approx map ref: ST257445.

Still present today in the same location as yesterday.

Cattle Egret still at WWT Steart Marshes in wet field east of Stert Drove opposite Marsh Farm. Visitors are welcome to use the WWT reserve car park on Stert Drove - the drove is narrow and please do not block farm gateways!
