6+ Common Buzzard - 3 worming on the ground and at least three other flying around low.
Also:
4 Common Crane - adults feeding together out on the marshes. All were wearing colour rings so presumably released as part of the Great Crane Project.
2 Whimbrel - flew in together from the SE, landed in the large lagoon, washed and preened for 10 minutes, then flew off Northwards.
1 Little Ringed Plover - flying around calling.

4 Stock Dove 1 Egyptian Goose - feeding in the environs of the large lagoon.
A total of 22 Whimbrel in 3 flocks seen from the NE car park at Steart at noon today. They came up from Stolford direction and were looking to land near Steart point.
