velvet bottom/black rock cheddar

crisp morning and a good variety to see, several Chiff chaff, chaffinch in good numbers, 3 song thrush, little wren protecting her nest with gusto as i walked by,green woodpecker, tree creeper, 6 raven,4 dunnock, single male Redstart, and a couple of birds with likeness to a larger chiff chaff [similar colouring]but very different songs between them which i am unable to identify even after going through plenty of song recordings on the comp'

a deviation onto longwood [SWT] this am, get to see single Brambling, Nuthatch, GS woodpecker, and 3/4 songthrush

possible sighting of a tree pipit on the upper banks of Black rock this morning, , female blackcap, several chiff chaff singing and very visible, song thrush, white throat around long wood, and A week previous in and around same area, a Tawny owl,and a Redstart
