Just been listening to a Barn Owl flying around our end of Westport 'screeching' every 5 - 10 seconds as it did so. Have just been speaking to a neighbour over the road and mentioned it and he said he has heard it quite a bit in recent weeks in the distance behind his house - nice to know that hopefully what I heard isn't a 'one-off' !
