A heron skulking in the reeds at the back of the reserve at catcott. In front of the tor, more to the right of the reserve. I noted a grey cap and what looked like stripes behind the eye. Body looked brownish grey. Head was quite in contrast to the body. I could be way off. But thought I would post in case someone else sees it. It showed itself a number of times but only for brief periods.
This was on sat afternoon.
