Water level has now dropped to early December 2013 levels and is at last suitable for waders again| Today just a dozen Lapwing and at least 30 Snipe.
Ring tailed Hen Harrier at 12.30. A single Peregrine; three different Marsh Harriers; 5 Buzzards and a distant Kestrel were the raptors present over 4 hour period, plus 2 G.W.Egrets plus 4 Little Egrets with half dozen Grey Herons.Duck numbers are still low for this time of year.
