At 09:20 this morning there was a Penduline Tit calling on Seventy Acre quite near to the main path but unfortunately not seen.
Go West from Ashcott Corner car park until the reedbeds open up on your right, go on another 100m and it was calling on the left.
After no sign/mention all week, two observers heard the Penduline Tit calling on Saturday (neither of them me, unfortunately). This time it was still in 70 Acre but at the other end, in the corner by the crosstracks/ footbridge/ Alan's bench, heard calling a few times late morning, and twice in quick succession mid afternoon. Still no-one has actually seen it.
