At least three Bramblings in a flock of c100 Chaffinch at Staple Common this afternoon.

They are few and far between on the Blackdowns so far this winter. Had 2 last Thursday (9th) with a flock of 300 chaffinch at Tricky Warren but absent from the garden so far.

Flock of 10 Brambling on Aisholt Common, Quantocks last Friday 10th. Also, 8 Crossbill flew over and 2 Lesser-spotted Woodpeckers with a mixed tit flock.
