Skylark singing as it rose from fields above Shepton Beauchamp at lunchtime - at the same time a Snipe landed in the road ,(temporarily).Then a few minutes later saw what looked like a Red Admiral fly past,(saw one at Brixham on the 29th Dec). Just three fields from home along Ruskway Lane, Westport, a gathering of Buzzards are in a small field on the left - counted 17 an hour ago.
