Merlin on salting to south of sluice yesterday, couldn't be sure of age/sex, and a single drake goosander on the river below Sloway Bridge. Today, a pair of stonechats, kingfisher, 100+ avocet opposite on Steart side and lots of mipits. Good wader roosts both days on falling tide, mostly knot and redshank.
