This morning off Hinkley Point: one 1st-winter Little Gull, one Long-tailed Duck (with c. 40 Common Scoter) and eight Purple Sandpiper in the roost. Last week two separate flocks of scoter were on the sea, one off the Point and a second, and larger, flock to the west of the Station - possibly a total > 100 birds in the two flocks.
