In hedge, close to Farmers Arms, West Hatch, with other greenfinches. This was completely white, no apparent colouration, as seen in short flight.

Research suggests "leucistic" rather than true albino (pink eyes etc)

I have discovered an abnormal plumaged Goldfinch among the small flock that is usually in my garden. It was around yesterday and today. It has the normal head pattern so is not a juvenile bird but the back is a very pale Golden colour while the primaries are pure white. Anyone who would like to try for a picture, please Email me.
