No two days seem the same on Hurlstone point recently but today was one of the better ones with a high count of
75 Red- throated Diver and a single Black -throated Diver several were seen in close at Porlock Bay feeding probably on the sprats or whitting which are about at the moment,a good number of Auks were also present
Another high bird count this time the evening Goosander Roost at Wimbleball Reservior had 83 birds come in 57 of these were Redheads, earlier at Bessom bridge were 54 Coot ,a pair of Gadwall only 1 Tufted duck and a male Goldeneye
