This morning I checked the video recording of visits paid to our peanut fat which has a camera over it. A male Blackcap arrived to feed on Monday 11th Nov just after mid-day. This is the first one for this winter. It didn't appear on the 12th but paid 10 visits Wed 13th. The garden is 20 metres from Sampson's Wood in S Yeovil.

A female Blackcap has now arrived on the peanut fat. First seen on Friday 15th, it is visiting more frequently than the male.

First Blackcap a female was seen in the garden on the 15 nov, joined by two males on the 17 nov ignoring the feeders in favour of apples we have halved ,the garden is in Grove Avenue Yeovil.

Female Blackcap in my Chard garden on 16th November, seemed to be finding 'natural' food in amongst Ivy.
