Ring Ouzel

A friend who was working on Black Down this afternoon has phoned me to say that he had a close view of a male ring ouzel which flew in and perched on one of the barrows near to the trig point. It soon flew off towards Rowberrow.

Re: Ring Ouzel

A minimum of 7 Ring Ouzel down Chetsford /Ember combe,a flock of 5 at the top end of Ember Combe 2 more further down Chetsford Combe with a single Brambling as i walked back to the car 6 were up by Chetsford bridge probably the same birds .Berries are dwindling fast thanks to the Redwings and Fieldfares and with tonights clear moonlit night who knows how long the Ring Ouzels will stay
