Excellent view from the office window earlier this evening around 5:00 of a Peregrine Falcon taking a pigeon in flight, then landing on the Westland airfield where it spent 40 minutes stripping and consuming its prey. After finishing its meal, if flew off to the west. Luckily there were no aircraft movements to disturb the falcon.
