Manx Shearwaters at Weston

Encouraged by the reports yesterday of Shearwaters off Hurlstone Point, I did a bit of sea watching from the Beach by the Axe Estuary mouth, after the WeBS count. Initially they were very distant, but around 9.00a.m. 8 birds came closer and into the main part of the bay. My first site record!
Not much of interest during the count. Oystercatcher the only wader, but a pair of Shelduck with young on the upper estuary.
