Single Red Kite very low over our garden, Coleford at 2.25PM this afternoon, barely higher than the roof. We had a small gathering for a BBQ of some of my wife's friends, one of them being a keen birder.
We were discussing yesterday's Honey Buzzard and I was explaining about how often I sky watch with little reward when the Kite suddenly appeared. Perfect timing!
The Kite was moving in an Easterly direction.
