Mute Swan with nine cygnets on the Taunton to Bridgwater Canal
near Firepool Lock this afternoon.

A pair of Mute Swans last night with 7 well developed young, having nested on a small island on the Mells Stream.
3 Families of Canada Geese have also bred in the same area.

Mute Swans with six cygnets yesterday at Apex Park, Burnham on Sea.

Worth mentioning that the new pair of Mute Swans on the moat of the Bishops Palace in Wells have hatched seven cygnets. There is live video coverage of them on the TV monitor in the Palace shop. (Entry to the shop is before you have to pay to go round the Palace grounds)
