Shamar Rinpoche

Anita's Tibetan Buddhist Master Shamar Rinpoche passed away today.

http://shamarpa.org/

There is a good story in Mingpao about the time Anita and her friend traveled to a remote mountain village in India where she met Shamar Rinpoche for the first time. I can't find it on the muimusic website anymore, many of the links are gone. Perhaps some one could resurrect it for now.

Re: Shamar Rinpoche

FB:

Thanks for this piece of news.
I was out of town last week and have been out of touch.

I do remember seeing a Ming Pao article that described how Anita met this Master. I think it might have been described by Anita's friend ( the one who works as an insurance agent).

Will see if I can find it.

Thanks.

I found it.
Is right here:

Page 5 is where Lin Yim Fai started talking about how they met Harmapa Rinpoche for the first time.

Is like some super power is helping me out.
Just when I was getting a bit upset that I can't find this, and then there it is.

THANKS to Woodstock who translated this already.

Re: Shamar Rinpoche

By the way, this article is not from MingPao.
Not sure if MingPao magazine has a separate article on the same subject.

This article I pointed out above is from a buddhism magazine
(Buddhist Compassion)
