I'm trying to trace any descendants of my GG Grandparents James Hamill and Sarah Ann Lavery. I believe they may have had 8 sons though so far I have only identified four. Michael b.1869, John b. 1871,James b. 1873 and Joseph b.1880.

By 1891, Michael was in Johnstone,Scotland.

There may have been some connection with Boxing. I have been told that the family were all boxers.

My grandfather was Peter Lavery I think he was married twice and had four children. He would have been born sometime around 1865. Lots of Laverys in Lurgan, however. some say in Lurgan if your grandmother wasn't a Lavery, her mother was! good luck.
