William Mcgillie was born in 1866 in Lurgan. His parents William and Mary were married in 1859 in Shettleston Scotland. They had several daughters who were born in Old Monkland. The family then moved back to Ireland. John and Daniel Mcgillie who were sons of William and Mary both appeared on Scotland's census in the late 1800's. John Mcgillie is my great grandfather. He lived in Scotland until the 1930's and then moved to England with his family. Hope this helps.
