Hoping someone can help me...I'm looking for information on a James Moffatt b. 8 May 1875 in Armagh...sorry don't know where...I know James was somehow related to a Wm. Moffatt and a Robina Moffatt as I have a letter that was written to him here in Canada in the 1940's....further to James..at some point he ended up in Belfast, married Margaret Hedley Close 19 Jun 1897 at Albertbridge Congregational church. James worked in the Linen Mills...according to family rumor he was a supervisor of some type. They eventually emmigrated to Canada...Maggie died 21 Jun 1941 at 73 yrs, James followed 10 Jul 1951. Any one with any information or insight on this branch ot the Moffatt family would love to hear from you.
