Ware, Armagh

Has anyone ever heard of a Ware(near Portadown) in County Armagh? A friend's father told her he came to USA, when he was very young, from a town near Portadown called Ware(Spelling?) Any help would be appreciated.

could the name perhaps be waringstown which is not to far from portadaown
