Did any of your Orrs emmigrate to Canada? My family has Orrs in it and Alexander was a common name in the 1800's.

Randy,We have lost a " Patrick" that might have come your way in the early 1700"s. He could have been a brother to Alexander of 1695, along with a sister Margaret. Yes, Alexander has always ( still is here) been a popular Orr name, which makes it very difficult to verify a specific one.
The story has always been that the three left Scotland via Ireland and we know Alexander came to Pennsylvania (from whom I descend). THanks for responding to my message, Ernestine Orr McKinney
