I'm not talking about a guided tour.. . I served on Her for two years, I would know where I want to go. . . & since the Hawk is being decomm'd, why wold it matter if former ship's company went on board? Wouldn't they have removed from visual any sensitive gear??
I was in SD this past weekend and met an MM3 from the Hawk who escorted my wife and I on base and down to the pier. He said they cannot take civilians onboard, but still it was great to get to see the Hawk up close again. I sure would've loved to have gotten onboard though....
