W- Division was in charge of special weapons. 2 magazines SASS. 4-167_0M and 5-87-0M. the entrance to the aft mag was port side mess deck.
I was on board from 70-73 and in W-Division ( behind the Marine guards) both forward and AFT SASS. We were taught from day one;" we never confirm or deny " the presence of nuclear weapons...........
