As a matter of fact Tuck, I was assigned to the Aft Cats, was sent TAD to the Fwd Cats and wound up working in "the Gear". I first went aboard the Kitty Hawk in Apr. 61 and stayed until Nov. 62. I transferred to VR7 at Moffett Field until Dec. 63, when I was re-assigned to the Hawk, V2 again, until Dec. 64. It's been awhile but I actually remember a Tucker in the Fwd Cats. My brother was in V6 and slept up forward near your compartment. I spent a lot of time in the area.

Jerry I remember you, I was just talking about you the other day. I was in V6 with your brother and knew you through him. In Dec. of 62 I got off the ship in the Phillipines and I met you in Clark Air Force Base. I remember asking you where you had been flying to and you said Viet Nam, And I said where is that and why are you going there. It just goes to show how much better the communication is today as shown by the show Carrier.
