I have ties to William JEFFERY b. abt 1840-45and his wife Catherine Travarra/ow of Cornwall, ENG. But I am afraid I have only begun my research on William Jeffery. I do not know who his parents were, except that he and Catherine came to America and settled in Mineral Point, WI, USA about 1865-1870. I haven't found an entry on him as of yet and what ship he came to America in. Catherine's brother was Walter Travarra/ow and he married a Sarah Unknown, they came to America together. Walter was a Mining Engineer and located mines for miners and what the contents of the mine were. William Jeffery was a stone mason. Both families appeared to be rather well off as William reportedly built a large 6 Room home in Mineral Point the first year he resided there. They also reportedly built Brine Kilns for smelting ore.




Might you know if William Henry is related to Edward or Stephen Jefferey? Their known Children were:
