Hi,
My name is Bobbie Drinkwater and I am a second year medical student at Warwick University. As part of our course criteria we have to complete a dissertation on a medical area of our choosing. I have chosen to look at Chronic Renal Failure. The reasons for my choice are firstly that the renal system interests me (and thankfully its a system that I seem to be able to understand with relative ease). Also, I am intersted in the impact such a disease and its treatments has on a patients life, which I imagine is great. In order to explore such impacts further I would like to speak to patients who have the condition. I must emphasise this would be completely anonymous and confidential and would have no impact on any existing or future treatments that you might recieve. I am very flexible and would be able to meet you at your convenience at the Walsgrave Hospital to have an informal discussion about your personal experiences. I would attempt to guide such discussions with questions but would like to assure you that anything you did not want to answer is fine and I would simply move on.
