I served on the Kitty Hawk from 71 to73,P-1 Div.#4MMR.I and 3 of my buddies were attacked Oct 12...sad.The fire in #1MMR took place on the 11th of Dec.73 They were all from P-1 Div.also.Many of them came to my Mothers house before we went up to Hunters Point...sad.

Kitty Hawk’s Stern
When KH was in San Diego in August I noticed under the fantail there are a number of vertical boxes or something running from the fantail down into the water.
These items were not on her when I was, 68 to 70.
What are they?
