I have a 1946 with a 216 six. It runs about 2 blocks and stalls. I rebuilt the carb and replaced the fuel pump blew out the fuel lines rapped the lines with tin foil. and still no help? I sprayed the plugs and dis.cap with water looking for leaks (electrical) any ideas? this is driving me crazy. thanks
Thank for the reply. Since I posted the question I replaced the condenser but the points I got were the wrong part. I removed the sender (fuel gauge) but baffles in the tank do not permit looking into tank very far. I think where the tank outlet is,can be removed, who knows? The tank seemed clean as the truck is like brand new! It was frame off restoration 7-8 yrs. ago then sat on the shelf for 5 yrs. I got it when my father-in-law passed away. I'm thinking iginition system? any more ideas will be greatly appreciated. JIMMY
