Hi Darren, Yes I did read that, but then I heard that the story might not be finished in time for filming before Christmas, and then will Alan be free to film it? also what chance is there I wonder of getting Caroline to come back? Sorry I am sounding pessimistic, but we have been without jc such a long time. I have played my collection on DVD so many times I can act out every part! |

Oh, I was unaware they were having dificulties time wise. I'm a bit like you, Karen. I've got all the eps on DVD & have watched them over and over. I'm not sure about CQ or JS, but I am not that fussy as I thought both were excellent, anyway, hope all goes weel in time for xmas, bye.

Hi, from New Zealand I was just watching an episode of JC on UKTV and thoroughly enjoyed it - a good hearted and affectionate show. It would be great to see it return after such a long hiatus. I discovered this site while doing a search to see waht I could find on JC. Good work keeping the JC flame alive.

Would that episode be 'The Eyes Of Tiresias'? That is a good episode, spooky at first, but good. |

hello again, jc is being shown on uktv gold on wednesdays, I am glad as I am missing a few episodes in my collection. The first one showing is the alien skeleton, which I did'nt like at first, but after watching it a few times, I've got into it now. Why do they stop making a show like this when it is so well acted, with great scripts, and so popular? I don't understand it. Karen

Does anyone know what the latest news regarding the xmas special is? The noticeboard on this site hasn't updated since 17th Feb regarding it, is is still on? Yes, Creek is being shown on Wednesday's & it's good for all the fans who don't own the DVD. I've even tried e-mailing Alans agent & BBC operators but havn't heard back. x |

The episode I saw was about the alien skeleton. I thought it was slightly contrived but maybe that's beacause I prefer the more 'classical' mysteries (eg locked room murders, etc). Its strange that JC only survived a couple of seasons - especially when you consider that something like 'Midsomer Murders' is now, I think, up to its tenth season. |
