A fan from USA... how can I get beyond second series???

I stumbled upon Jonathan Creek while channel surfing at home (San Francisco Bay Area). It is sporadically broadcast on one of the local PBS stations (that's our rather poorly funded version of the BBC). My wife and I love the series, and we have been renting the DVDs for the first two seasons from Netfix. But the problem is that after Series two, there is nothing available that will play on the USA format. The DVD's are region 2 (US is region 1) and the video tapes are PAL format, again not playable on my equipment. If anyone has any connection with the publishers, please ask them to get the rest of the series out in a US compatible format!! I am already into series two and will soon be out of episodes to watch.

Re: A fan from USA... how can I get beyond second series???

Hi there. I'm in the same situation. I don't know if you can afford to go this route, but it's been suggested to me more than once to buy a multi-region DVD player, and then order DVDs from Amazon UK. One guy was raving to me about his player that he paid $169 for, which seems more-or-less within reach...

I'm actually putting all the episodes up on YouTube, using this username.

Is it possible to record off of YouTube?
