Message:   Hello. I am 27 weeks pregnant with my second child and I am scheduled to have a c-section and getting increasingly nervous about it. My doctor recomended that I have her that way. My first I had an emergency c-section. The details..I was a week late so my labor was induced. I went to the hospital at 6am and was dialated to a 2. At 12pm they broke my water. They checked me at 8pm and I had only dialated to a 4. At 9pm my sons heart rate dropped so they took me in to do an emergency c-section. The cut on my abdomin and my uterus is low transverse. He ended up being 9lbs 11oz. My doctor told me after the surgery that my pelvis wouldn't have been wide enough for him to have fit. I am 5ft 2in and pretty petite. Anyway from what I have been reading I believe that if I were to actually attempt a v-bac that I might actually succeed if this baby isn't as big. What do you think? Should I trust my doctor or should I demand a chance or switch doctors. I am scared of going through another c-section and if I can avoid it I want to.
