I also was searching for treasure. I bought the book then rented the movie.I spent hour after hour looking for clues trying to figure them out. Then one day I was sure I had found out where he was buried. The next day I left, just out side of my town I stopped at a rest stop, a tall black man confronted me in a uncomfortable way. I then hurried to my car and began on my way, this man followed me and began speeding behind me, I kept speeding up, he was in a pick-up truck, when I reached the next town, he fell back and turned off.I then stopped at a station and got a cup of coffee. Now it really begins WOW!!!I noticed a man in a car next to mine with a note book writing, I then left and went on my way, and I went on a trip I will never forget.No more space left here I'll re you |

I really can't explain this trip except that it was like I was living this fairy tale, everything around me was just amazing and wonderful.My mind wasn't mine any more!!!Any way I stopped at a station to get gas and I asked the attendant for directions as to where I was going the note said 6 miles ahead. After that I only remember these. I played a pin ball machine and won! I circled a parking lot not able to find my way out. I was in a park and met a D.J on the radio, I spent the night parked at a park when a cop then excorted me to the salvation army in Lexington Kentucky. This is not where I was going to. RE. You |

After being at the salvation army I was then asked for persons who I new, I gave them my sisters name, I could not remember my mothers Phone #. They then called my sister she got on a plane and came to get me.I was still not myself when she arrived. When I got back home I was my self again.I just think that the movie and the book hypnotized me. I am not a crazy person altho this sounds like I am. Years ago I wrote a poem and put it on a cassette tape with the music behind it "This old House" I sent it to my then husband and he said he lost it. This poem was in search for the meaning of love, which treasure could mean love.I don't have the copy of this poem any more! |
