Adderson, Coordinator IMMEDIATE RELEASE USA INTERNATIONAL FARM INITIATIVE THE AMERICAN FARM TEAM VISITING THE REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA OFFER AGRICULTURAL PLANS FOR FOOD SECURITY As stated ‘’ Never in the history of Sierra Leone has one company been trusted with contracts and full concessions in 149 Chiefdoms, in 12 Districts to help improve the living conditions of our people through the areas of Agriculture and Mining with the American Farmers and their Partners and in that of strengthening co-operation between Sierra Leone and the United States of America’’. Bishop William Lockhart, Founder of Kamlock International Mining LLC USA, and Alhaji P. M. Kamara, founder of Kamlock International Company Limited, Sierra Leone visited The Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone at his State House Office. The team introduced the leader of the American Farmers, Mr. Rudell Lee to Vice President Hon. Chief Samuel Sam-Sumana. The Agricultural Project will kick off January & March 2008 under the name Kamlock Agricultural Expansion and Economic Development Strategy Plan for Sierra Leone. LSAdderson, Inc. with its partners and the American Farmers who would act as the principal development partners to facilitate these processes received strong support from the Vice President. He assured them of his government’s support and protection at all times. He said the new dispensation is looking for development oriented partners as Sierra Leone is open for business. The Agricultural programs under Kamlock International will be extended to all 149 Chiefdoms, nationwide with the aim to ensuring food security. They will embark on animal husbandry, oil palm plantation and other food production for commercial purposes. Kamlock International promised the Vice President that they will create good working conditions for their employees and offer scholarships to deserving workers’ children. They will meet their corporate responsibilities like road rehabilitation and improvement to other facilities within communities where they operate. Mr. Lee said of his visit to Sierra Leone; “It is a Paradise, a very beautiful Country, with lots of open land, fertile soil, blue water and the beach sand is white, but the need is great and we can do it”. The people of Sierra Leone received him with the love of a son, grand-son, brother, uncle, father and a friend. The American Farmers, JCC Concrete Inc, Killiebrew Farms, Bertha Lee Farm, Lawrence Construction, Ndonga Building & Construction, LSAdderson Inc and their Partners are the committed partners who will join forces with Kamlock International USA and Kamlock International Sierra Leone to help the people of Sierra Leone rebuild their Country. Good aternoon, I am a Sierra Leonean architect residing in Germany.I came back about two weeks ago from Sierra Leone. My brother told me about your project that you are intending to work on in my country. The idea is great and it is high time Black Organisations like yours start giving us a true helping hand.I am really interested in your project and I will be be greatful for more information. I am an America with a Commerce and Business Degree from Alabama. I am 26 years old. I dont have my own business yet. But as an African American, I have come to realize that our struggle in America is intermangled with the people of Africa. And once we all see this we can both redeem our forefathers great land.
