It was absolutely fantastic yesterday!! Marilu and I took off from Erie and flew down to Lynn Center, and took some pictures of the new house. Coming back, over Orion, we heard Dan Dawson landing at Erie and gave a "howdy-howdy" back and forth.
Getting back, we met Jim Robinson and Dr. Dave Orme in the air.
Ron Wells was doing touch and goes. And Dan Budde flew in, about the time we were putting our Challenger away.
On the way out the drive, we saw Steve Bornhoeft opening up his hanger.
What a day!
It looked like some kind of fly-in at Erie!
We don't get out as much as we'd like, but come join us.
Marilu and I are planning on a trip to Monticello, Iowa, after we are finished moving and before I get my knees replace. Any interest in flying along?? Let us know.
