N582EL (aka white chII on floats) made it's first tracks in the grass on Tuesday. I had to take it out and make sure the engine worked. I taxied about 30 yards and put it away. May be doing the break in this w/e. The "to do" list is getting shorter. Lots of fine tuning and checking yet to do and only a few more build items. I'll say it will fly in May which may force me to actually fly by July. Hope to see some aiplanes moving soon @ Erie...it's great motivation for me to get moving. |
