Boycot Efrem and Aster, HODAMS
Selam my fellow Ethiopians I think you need no explanation about what the turned to be hodam singers, Aster Awoke and her comrade_in_ hod Efrem Tamiru, did in Ethiopia. Yes, they were celebrating TPLF's birth day with the cold blooded child killers and their financer Al Amodi at Sheraton Addis. Remember Aster and Efrem decided to be a part of TPLF celebration despite of the fact that they were advised by their close friends to refrain. Why? Because they are after money and they chose money to the Ethiopian people. What is more baffling is that when they were approached by the opposition parties for fund raising activities, they repeatedly said that they do not want to associate with any political activities. They also were not willing to co-operate in fund raising activities for the non political and non-TPLF run developmental associations that could benefit millions of Ethiopians dieing from different diseases including malaria. But, when it comes to TPLF and Al Amoudi they bowed and disrespect all Ethiopians. That is why Efrem and Aster are wel comed to Ethiopia while Solomon Tekalign and Shambel Belayineh have been chareged with "treason". That is why Efrem and Aster move in and out Ethiopia as they want to, while Neway Debebe and so many courageous artists are in exile "forever". That is why Efrem and Aster enjoyed the support of TPLF while Tedi Afro is dragged by the brutal agazi forces and charged with a fabricated "crime". Dear fellow Ethiopians, I challenge you to boycott Aster and Efrem and give them lesson, if they can learn at all. Boycotting them will send a clear message to the hod aders for the language they speak is money. I call upon the editors of ethiomedia.com to unpost Efrem's commercial. Ethiomedia.com should do better. Let's support artists loyal to the Ethiopian people, not the TPLF regime. Bitew Thank you all |

I am outraged as you are at those two frifari lekames. Surely, they get more money from Ethiopians who always buy their cds than woyane's change for one night. Be that as it may, the ad on ethiomedia.com was a paid advertisement and we should not infringe on EM right to make some money. It is a lot of work to run a website like EM and you don't make any money out of it. We want EM to thrive so the way to punish the hodams is not to advertise their appearance in X or Y city, but NOT TO BUY THEIR TICKET. Let's be fair! we don't want to hurt our friends along with our enemies. Selam. |

While our democratically elected leaders are in prison, while Serkalem Fasis give birth to a child i prison, while Birtukan Mideksa left her breast-feeding baby with her mom, while the pen was not dry after the disclosure of the 193 young Ethiopians who were slaughtered for democracy, while .... Aster and Efrem out there beging the tyrant for firifari ..., this very day I will stop listening to any of their songs I had and also advise my friends and relatives to do the same. It looks like Bitew is the real Hodam here. Unless he goes to Asmara to join EPPF or Mogadisho to join AFD, he could not dare to call others Hodam. Till he puts his money where his mouth is, he should cork it. |

RR, I wonder how we lived in the same country with these people. Fascists to the core wether they were in Addis Ababa or now in DC. Our anscestors set free azmari even when captured in battle on the opponents side. These CUDergists do not share with us any culture from adam. They are a world to their own. |

Zewditu, If keeping our anscestors culture of the way they treat azmari makes us geterie, geberie, mehayim...and all the sidib dispensed from the "elects of god to rule ethiopia from DC", so be it. Our anscestors culture was most honourable and still is. We have no problem with any azmari of derg times or haileslassie times. We live and let live. There is no purpose in going after azmari when the vanguished has moved to DC. |
