SerenityMoon, I must inquire as to why you would visit this site if your only goal is to rabble-rouse? It seems to me that the internet, being the type of medium that it is,is considered a vehicle for free speech. When you are aimlessly surfing the web at night, and you discover a site like this (something that obviously offends you) learn to IGNORE it. By the sounds of your befuddled post; you read this author's work rather creatively, and as such, posted a message that very accurately portrays what the author's overall message was about. Thank you for the very graphic demonstration.

And for the record I'm not Wiccan. But there is a connective knot that seems to bind you all. "I hate stupid people or people that spew stupid or false info." Very well. I have over a hundred fifty IQ I guess that give me the right to hate most people here if not all!!!!

Thank you Chris for posting to this site with your random views. I am a practicing Pagan and I have an IQ of 160 (for whatever my IQ has to do with posting on a site about someone's opinions regarding religion.) I was in no way saying that Serenitymoon had no right to post his/her opinion; my intent was to comment to the fact of the use of uncouth language. I feel there is a better way to voice your displeasure than to using base language. I also felt I was implying that the author is sharing a valid opinion; whether or not Serenitymoon agrees. The internet is a place for the free exchange of thoughts & opinions, and I believe it always will be, but there is no reason opinions and thoughts cannot be expressed in a more civilized manner. As for your IQ giving you the right to hate others...That's your choice, but you are choosing a rather lonely existance.

Ok - this is my last visit here. I only came back because I knew it could open up a little to my exact point after a post, so one more visit was in order. But this is really not anything I want to dwell on for a number of reasons. A major one being that it is a waste of time to dwell on why who hates who, and really lame too. So in a round it off reply to all that would come - This IS a hate site. To say that it is not with welcome usage of stuff like WiKKKa is well just stupid. The KKK is a hater subculture. Period. To me it is not even rational to compare Wicca with the KKK. It is only a cheap ploy to gain superiority and put in a cheap cut down. And the IQ put in - well it should have been obvious and I can't believe I have to explain this again. I'll spell it out. And I'll use proper spelling too so I can't possibly get put down for being too common or stupid. Because you all see the logic in saying there are Wiccans that are stupid, can't spell, are uneducated in their own religion, and so on. . . Basically the idea being that people here have the right to bash an entire religion and people in it, well since everyone here justified themselves to be a hater because they are all sooooo much better and smarter - I was pointing out that if all can use the basis that they are all so much smarter and spell so much better, that gives them more rights, I was saying that following that logic I guess I have more rights than everyone spewing their hate. They want to say how they are so much smarter, I have a higher IQ than they do, so the logic laid down suggests that they would have to now listen to me. But now I am so shocked to see that someone is coming along saying their IQ is a few points higher and that gives them final rights. So shocked to see that. I just would have NEVER guessed that anyone would come along and do that!! But it does serve to make my point even more, doesn't it? Everyone hating here is just trying to prove one up. I am just so thrilled you win. Ya. Now you have more of a right to hate on your logic. Rules set by you. Ya. What a fun game. Still, all with an IQ under 155 have to listen to me, at least give me equal time. Or maybe we should get everyone IQ tested before they have a right to have a religion or perhaps we need to pass all ideals through the smartest yokel we can find?? And to anyone that will not get the inbred yokel hating haters idea idea I'm not even explaining. It already flew high over one head. The head of the one so much smarter than me I should add. In case the point is still not made - NO it does not give you the right to HATE because you're smarter or more well informed. NO you don't have the right to HATE because someone in that subculture ****** you off, even lots of someones. Spewing HATE remarks is not about free speech. NO Hate is not allowed as a good, health outlet to aggression of any kind. And all you'll ever get in return is hate. So decide if it's ok for someone to hate you back and decide if you want to live with that boundless, senseless aggression.
I'll say only one thing more - This is hate, it should not have to be defended against by using wisdom or even with a level head. If someone opens their mouth and says "I hate" then they should expect retaliation to have no bounds, logic or consideration. There is no logic or bounds to hate. In the name of hate people can justify anything, war rape, murder and worse. There have even been implications here that Wiccans should burned as they claim to have been burned many moons ago. I do not care that someone spews false religion origins. It harms no one and is corrected ONLY with rationality and patience. Nothing is corrected with hate and boding ill to another. And the hate does hurt and when you begin it it will hurt you too. It is the oldest double edge sword. So though there may be some shame in looking stupid at a party saying hundreds of Wiccans were burned (false information) there is gigantic amounts of shame in saying that the person talking the false info needs to be burned. If all the energy to create hate sites and blog hate for stupidity was replaced with patience and respect you'd attain your goals you claim to have, ridding of the negative attributes, much more easily. I imagine that there are many here that know the teaching of the greats like Gandhi, MLK and Hitler, being the "well educated" folks you claim to be. Congrats. If you have ever learned about any of these greats Hitler is the only one that can covet your ideas without shame. Hope you're all proud.

Now look, a year or so ago, I would have been one of the guys on this site, bashing wiccan's as hard as I could. The trouth is, SerenityMoon (ever notice how these guys have names, that sound like they came right out of a bad fantasy novel) that I'ts not the base religion, or even all of it's practitioners, that I can't stand. It's the false Dogma, that a lot (not all, had to include the not all, so I don't have to listen to all the wiccans on here whine about how I'm persecuting them, as a whole) of wiccans spread, especially via the internet. So, here are some real facts, that a lot of wiccans will deany, but which HAVE been proven true, by scholars.

1. WICCA IS OLDER THAN GOD: Um wrong! Wicca was "invented" some time around the early 50's, by Gerald Gardner. Also, it is worth noting that several distinguished scholars, including Ronald Hutton have done extinsive research into gardner, and have found ZERO evidence to substantiate the existance of the "origional" witch coven, that Gardner claimed to have "learned" his craft from, and it is believed by a large percentage of the acidemic community, that he simply "made it up."

2. THE BURNING TIMES: There were absolutley zero Wiccans burned during the "burning times." Even though I have read claims that number around nine million, the actual number was around fourty thousand, and since Wicca did not exist prior to the 1950's, there is no way that nine million Wiccans were put to death, between 1550 and 1630.

3. CHRISTIANS HAVE ALWAYS PERSICUTED "MY KIND.": Again, you need to get your facts straight. If by "my kind", you mean your "pagan brethren," your not only wrong, but you don't know much about early christian history. Christians were not always the ones with the power. The Roman Empire, which was a pagan worshiping society, during the formative years of christianity, had plenty of christians put to death, in horrible ways, so lets not act as this is a totally one sided affair.

4. I'M AN ECLECTIC WICCAN, SO GARDNER DOES NOT REALLY MATTER TO ME: What???? What??? The guy INVENTED your religion. Being a wiccan who had never read gardner, is like being a christian who has never cracked The Bible! I guess what these "eclectic" wiccans are really trying to say it, "I'm too lazy to learn the religion, as it was written." If your going to claim a religion, do your homework! There are way too many Wiccans out there who either "got it off the internet" or "learned it from a friend, who got it off the internet."

I'm glad that most wiccans these days, seem to be moving away from the teachings of Silver Ravenwolf (again, another name that sounds like it belongs in a terrible fantasy novel) and more towards the works of people like hutton and even cunningham. Silver Ravenwolf was one of the BIG names in wicca, in the 90's. The woman is a feminist christian basher, who hides behind mixed words, and confuses dogma with fact, and should be the poster child, for the poser, goth, basement wiccan, who writes bad poetry, wears too much black make up and clothes, and spends all their time in the dark, crying about a world that can't understand them, cause they are whiney, over weight teens, who need a swift kick in the ass.

Stand for something or you'll fall for anything, but excuse me I forgot that I am talking to a closed minded pushy idiot who cant be happy with himself ., I for one came on this site to see how rediculous this male's claims would be so that we can laugh about it at our next celebration , and now we have more reason to, lol ! Please dont insult your own intelligence by responding to a site like this if you have any at all . Any site or person who has to pick apart any other religion obviously has so many insecurity's about their own and their soul they need find something to fight for and prove themselve's other wise you wouls leave people where they are at happy with themselve's and their religion. Ya know we do like to laugh about tiny minded people such as yourselve's with nothing more to do then critisise others beliefs, obviously you need more time spent practicing your own !
