Stand My Ground!

Since I am the webmaster, you surely know why I am here, and my position, this site was created in response to what I feel was insensitivity to the artwork of local musicians of Puget Sound and Portland, however I am hoping that in the end, something good can come of all this. I had the opportunity to see Pearl Jam at the Gorge this summer, and remember Eddie Vedder saying to us all; "Never pass on the opportunity to make a Positive situation out of a negative one!" To Eddie Vedder I take inspiration and "Stand my Ground", as he has done many times over for the music fans of the world!

I think you need to consider the source. Bob Rivers? I wouldn't worry your pretty little head over it.

ok but just for the record, I take a 7 1/4 size hat(just in case you want to buy me a hat, although I RARELY wear one!), I don' t know if I have a "Pretty" head (that's a matter of opinion I guess, but thanks for the compliment!), but I would say that it isn' t little, very average in size I do believe.

Re: Stand My Ground!

you are making a negative situation out of a positive one. its his show. he entertains. he can listen to as much or as little as he likes of the submissions to his own contest. get the **** over it.

Re: Re: Stand My Ground!

OK, so what I am getting out of this is "it's OK for Bob Rivers to do whatever he wants on his show, BUT it is NOT right for anyone else to speak out if they disagree? It may be HIS show, but THIS is MY opinion, AND the last time I checked I am entitled to it! Let me assure you, even if I wasn' t entitled to it you would hear it anyway! Since when is it weak or wrong to express a DIFFERING opinion? Are you a republican by any chance? Oh and by the way when you say he "Entertains" that is YOUR opinion, and I DO NOT agree with you!

Re: Stand My Ground!

you ARE welcome to your opinion. and i support you in it. i am here reading it right? i am just dropping mine as well. as far as Rivers being an entertainer, thats his job title whether you or i am entertained by him or not. i am with you. i don't find him entertaining.
