Hi Yvonne,
Any unsolicited advertising is considered spam and isn't usually beneficial to the sender. But sending postcards or brochures by traditional mail is certainly acceptable.
Have you considered flyer mailouts? Canada Post offers a very affordable rate and you can choose the areas, types of properties, etc.
Joining a local women's business network and your local chamber of commerce are some additional options to promote your business. Plus ensuring it has good online visibility to your market.
Hope this helps. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: I am a new business owner. My business is virtual. I want to know if sending emails that provides information about your services but is not asking for the individual to buy is considered spamming
If so, would the best way to make individuals aware of your services be sending flyers out to business's or postcards? |
