I'm hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction! My daughter and I want to buy into a franchise here in Alberta but we have absolutely no idea where to look for financing information. I've heard there are government grants available for women entrepreneurs and I've looked but really I'm becoming rather overwhelmed. I know that if we could get the start-up cash that we'll need that our business would be successful I just need to find it! I'd rather stay away from venture capitalists. If someone could please point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate your assistance.
